If you saw my post "During the Reign of the Oak King" today on Petit Fours, and would like to see some pictures of my studio, then here they are! Most of my pictures are focused on the ideas I used to create things and the sewing equipment I've planned around. Writing really only takes up the space between my elbows.
Thank You, Burpees

I want to live in your studio. I'm going to go on a fruitless quest to find some creativity of my own. : )
Ha ha Sally. I do actually feel like I live in my studio. My only source for creativity is problem solving. Well, that and I see every surface as a canvas needing to be embellished in some way. I never met a pile of junk on the curb that I couldn't love.
Wow, what a great space. I'm glad you posted these pictures.

This is an incredible space. Your knack for putting things like this together is amazing.
That place is absolutely fabulous! Love it!! And, yes, I promise I would sew if I could get to my machine easier!
You are so talented!
Michelle,
I've seen your space up close and personal and I loved it. It's a great spot to be creative.

Thanks for the kind words ladies! I'm out in the studio right now and I forgot to set the heater last night so I'm freezing - a not so great part of being in an outbuilding!
Great space. I'm jealous. It also looks like your are talented in more ways than just the writing area. Thanks for sharing.
Yes! I love it! Can I come visit and get some inspiration? It's been so long since I've been creative.

Fabulous! I love it.
Like Maxine, I would sew more if I had a dedicated space for my machine and supplies. It's frustrating to have to pack it all up and unpack again each time I tackle a project.
Michelle,
O...M...Geeeee. Your space is awesome! Compulsively, wonderfully, perfectly organized. I LOVE it. And those shelves with the glass doors are to die for.
You're a very lucky gal.
Have a happy evening!

Wow, Michelle, it's gorgeous. Now I know what you meant when you said "I would never use such strong and feminine colors in a family space, but in my own space I can."
Linsey
I think what you said about "I never met a pile of junk on the curb I couldn't love" should be the first line of a novel. I suppose I should let you have it since you said it. : )
HA! Yes Tamara, I am a compulsive organizer. What you can't see in the picture is that on those shelves everything is in very precisely named bins. There's even one for "door knobs" and another for "Misc. Electrical Parts." My goal when I'm an old lady is to take up welding and make fanciful lawn sculptures so I've begun gathering now. You can use that line, Sally, lord knows I'll never get around to it! Thanks everyone for stopping by, you made my day!
